CEU Workshops
Throughout the year Jingshen offers online and in person workshops that count towards CEUs. Below are upcoming options.

Workshop 1:
Jingshen Pediatrics Presents:
Treating Complex Neuroimmune Disorders in Children
Live and Recorded on Zoom (April 18th from 1-3PM EST)
In contrast to Western reductionist medicine, Chinese Medicine promotes relational health, embracing the reality of complexity in its treatment of pathological conditions. Because children are in a state of rapid change, they are prone to conditions of phlegm that present as dysfunction of the "adaptive triad" (liver-spleen-lung) and "maturation triad” (spleen-kidney-heart), which in Western terminology, may be considered in many ways analogous to the neuro-gastro-immune complex.
In this 2-hour on-line workshop, Moshe Heller and Stephen Cowan will discuss the Chinese medical approach to diagnosing and treating children presenting with neuro-immune disorders with special attention given to the clinical diagnosis of Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) defined as the acute onset of symptoms that include obsessions/compulsions, food restrictions, motor tics and attention deficits along with emotional irritability.
Attendees will learn how to diagnose and treat these disorders when confronted with children presenting with such complex neuro-immune symptoms.
